About Kim Wescott

My love of photography started in high school with my first film camera and a crazy, talented photography/yearbook teacher Mr. George Leverett. He taught us how to turn what creative ideas we saw through the lens into a print in our school dark room. Since my parents were cattle ranchers I followed the path of majoring in Agriculture in both Junior College and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science from California State University, San Luis Obispo.

While in college I used my photography skills for school publications and entering competitions. Fast forward to 1993 with the birth of our son I launched my professional photography business. For 23 years my photography studio was located in Visalia, CA where I enjoyed photographing babies, children, grads, families and weddings.

Moving to Las Vegas in 2019 to follow our son and his family, I have decided to relaunch my photography business since I do love creating memories and miss interacting with people in front of the camera.

And please be assured during these crazy times of distancing and precautions; I can create images under these mandates skillfully and safely.
